Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate focused on onboarding and maintaining relationships with merchants, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, onboard, and nurture relationships with merchants to maximize sales and revenue.

- Identify potential merchants in the field through market research, referrals, networking, and cold-calling. Develop a deep understanding of their business needs, pain points, and goals.
- Lead the onboarding process for new merchants, including product demonstrations, and implementation support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful launch.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to understand their evolving needs and provide exceptional customer service. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, issues, and escalations. Continuously identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize merchant satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth from merchants. Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting products and services, conducting sales presentations, and delivering persuasive pitches tailored to merchant needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities related to merchants. Utilize this knowledge to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer support, and product, to gather feedback, address merchant concerns, and drive product enhancements. Provide input on marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and product positioning to better serve merchants.
- Provide education and training to merchants on product features, benefits, and best practices. Conduct webinars, workshops, and training sessions to ensure merchants fully leverage our solutions.
- Ensure high levels of merchant satisfaction by promptly addressing their concerns, providing proactive support, and advocating for their needs within the organization. Work closely with the customer success team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the MSME and B2B environment.
- Strong track record of successfully onboarding and managing clients/customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of the field/industry and its market trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
