Job Summary

As Bumpa grows and its suite of business solutions increases, we are hiring for a Product Marketing Manager who will shape how businesses adopt Bumpa to solve their business pain points. This role will drive activation and conversion efforts & will sit at the intersection of data, user behavior, product, marketing & growth. This role is best suited for the PMM obsessed with data, details, attribution, user behavior, feedback, and product The PMM is one comfortable running data-backed experiments, can bet on their own creativity, possesses creative writing skills, has expansive product knowledge & is someone who displays strong ownership and results, and is ready to impact how the next generation of SMEs in Africa does business. We are looking for a marketer who thinks in systems and processes that scale and knows how to turn complaints, inquiries, or product gaps into revenue or product growth opportunities.

Job Details

Responsibilities. 

 

  • Create and execute GTM strategies to launch new products. 
  • Implement and maintain lifecycle product flows for user activation and retention.
  • Improve product education through different communication channels 
  • Conduct product research through feedback calls with users or in-depth market discovery. 
  • Creating copy and design direction for product and marketing landing pages. 
  • Create marketing campaigns, strategies, or loops to drive adoption and retention.  
  • Spot product loopholes and opportunities for revenue and create strategies to fill in those gaps. 
  • Track product and marketing effort performance and provide strategies to improve results.
  • Crafting and contributing towards brand positioning efforts. 
  • Initiate or maintain strategic partnerships that can drive product goals. 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in creating winning lifecycle workflows and campaigns. 
  • Proven track record of influencing and driving product growth. 
  • Experience in copywriting, campaign ideation, execution, and landing page optimization.
  • Strong understanding of content & product distribution strategies. 
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Understands how to use AI to improve product processes or results. 
  • Experience with CRM & data Analytics tools like Customer.io, Mixpanel,, Appsflyer, PostHog, and Google Analytics for customer engagement, attribution, & or event tracking is a plus. 
  • High levels of creativity and a strong sense of ownership of retention and conversion pipelines.
